Here's a few bottles cleaned up from yesterday's dig. The Keller's Ginger Ale was featured in the videos and was by far the best bottle found.

When I found the Virginia Worm Killer I immediately thought of the question, did it just kill Virginia Worms or did it kill worms from other states too? [:)] Note the key mold. This is probably a much older bottle than I have been digging, possibly 1860s or early 1870s. It does have a tooled lip though. I'm a little confused. Who knows the approximate age for sure?

Here's a neat glass button which is the same color as the Fraser bottle that I found the other day. It is the size of a half dollar.

An unbroken round top with a geometric desigh possibly a powder jar or a candy dish. It is 5" in diameter.

And finally for now a crude, wide mouth jar with just the initials KY and JM embossed on the shoulder.

Who knows the approximate age for sure?

I'd say 1880s, assuming it a tooled lip

Thanks Matt. It's definately not rolled and it looks tooled. Did they apply a lip that small? Probably 1880's like you said but I thought that the key mold was used earlier. That's where my confusion came in.
