So I'm at the job site today. I thought all the digging was done. Wrong!!!
Eachy building gets 4' x 5' x 7' deep infiltration well to let roof drains get the water back into the ground. Anyway the digging begins first hole nothing, holes 2 & 3 had lots of ash about 3' down and lot's of bottles. Mostly junk but I had my digger with me today and as the mini excavator moved to the next hole I would dig in the piles. Glad I did. Here is the haul from today.

When I first picked this one up I thought it was a modern minature. It's not this one has some age to it. Did they have minis back in the 1890s?

This would have been nice to find the whole thing. The dog looks so wrong. I finally figured out that it's a dog suit with another kid on the person in the suits back.

I kept finding pieces of this in one of holes I dug for an hour at lunch time and came up with four or five pieces. Two matched up. Looks like it was some type of advertisment sign possibly for beer.

If I had a job like yours, I'd find it very hard to do the work I'm actually supposed to be doing. (Either that, or I would have people haul the dirt to my back yard so I could go through it later[8D])
There is a mini Duffy Malt that looks just like that mini brown bottle, but it has the logo on it. My digging partner has one.

Last one for now was this interesting white jar. These things show up everywhere we dig and I usually don't even give them a second glance. This one was diffrent anyone know anything about it? It reads POSLAM Emergency Labatories New York USA

Lobey it's hard for me to part with any of the bottles and other stuff I dig or find. Much to my wife's displeasure. My basement is full of everything old raidos, phones, books, bottles, toys etc. So I'll hang onto it, it really is nice.

Good going, Jerry! About the minis, they sure did have them back then.. I just got several different minis.. including a mini Curtice Bros ketchup, and one of those small sized Durkee salad dressings, which migh not actually qualify as a mini.. what does the tenpin beverage say? Any embossing on the shaker?? The flask is definitely the catch of the day!! And the sign shards seem to be for a wheat beer, or Weissbier..
