I picked up a couple of bottles at a yard sale this morning, 2 local milks and a nice little "Mayr's Wonderful Stomach Remedy, Chicago". I looked up the Mayr's and found found some that did not have the word Stomach before remedy. Is mine scarce?

The other milk in this pic is a W C Viall, East Providence, RI pint in near mint condition. Got all of these for $2 each.

Here is a closeup of the embossing on the Mayr's. Does anyone have any info on this one?

And now - My own personal HOLY GRAIL of bottles. I almost died when I saw this one sitting in the pile. It's a one quart "Locust Farm, Warwick, RI" milk bottle. My house sits on land that used to be Locust Farm. The original farm house still stands and is lived in, and has two round stone signs on either side of the driveway which say "Locust" and "Farm" and a date, which I cannot remember right now. My Dad remembers the old barn and silo, and a wooden foot bridge that used to cross the brook behind the farm. Now it's all houses and woods, and the farm house is all that's left.

I've been looking for this bottle since I started collecting, about 3 years. For a while, I almost stopped believing any existed. WOOO HOOO!

Here is a close up of the embossing. I know, I know, it's just a milk, not that much. Well it is to me!!! Thanks for looking!

I can understand your excitement as I too last week was given a long sought after local milk. (New to the collection under Neat Sad Story)

Enjoy your bottle.
