This is my favorite St. Louis bottle, finally acquired one. The bottle is a round bottom, and applied top. Dates somewhere from 1863 to 1867. Has two weird dots on either side of the bottom mold line.It's embossed; JOHN. O'BRIEN AGTS?. LOUIS. Mo. I'm curious on the rarity and value (I can only find one other one with round bottom). Thanks for looking!

Even if not rare, that's a superior piece. I'd assume that it isn't common, but then again... St. Louis is a big city.

Very, very unusual form in my experience. I've seen lots of similar bottles but none from U.S. firms. Great find, thanks for sharing and adding to the old data file. Jim

Thanks for showing! I see alot of the round bottom bottles , at the antique malls , all non-USA. That's a keeper!

I guess a follow up question (kinda went unsaid) is;
'does anyone else have this bottle?'
