Morning all, I wonder if any of the experts on the forum have any ideas on this one! A six sided star under a pontil. I don't believe it is Star Glass Works Indiana because they use a 5 sided star. Zumwalt has a reference to double AA's under a pontil as french, and has a illustration or two of similar specimens a early coffee extract and a spice bottle but does not mention pontil. This specimen measures 6 3/8" X 2 5/8" X 1 3/4". Any comments welcome! Taz[:)]

hi, the bottle you have is a condiment bottle. The bottle dates from 1830's to 1850's. In good condition the bottle retails for about 20 to 30 dollars. I have had a few of these. Hope i was of help in answering some of your questions, thanks bottles141

Hi Paul thanks for the input! Any clues on the star or glasshouse? I can hardly wait to put it in the tumbler and bring it back to life...[8D] Taz
