Once again I am no expert but that one appears to be an unembossed HARKNESS FIRE DESTROYER grenade. I sold an embossed one this summer. Will check with the guy who bought mine.

Botlguy, this bottle has tooled lip, is not a reproduction nor is it ABM. [:)]

I'm sorry if I sounded like I agreed that it might be a repro. I believe strongly it is authentic. I was just trying to help and was mistaken that it might be a HARKNESS. There is actually an un-embossed HARNESS FIRE DESTROYER that has a VERY similar appearance / shape but enough difference to tell that this is not one. Please forgive me for muddying the waters.

Thanks botlguy, I'd love to see them. [:)] There is a very faint but visible half of an outline of a route emblem on the base of this bottle. It is smaller than a penny and the other half is obscured by the mold on the base. Inside the emblem are the letters UM. It appears that one or two letters are missing that would have proceeded them. I'll try to draw an idea of it:

Sorry I meant an "upside down" route emblem. And there could only be room for one more letter at that size. I could certainly be reading it upside down where it would be the correct way for a route emblem and it would read _ M D instead of U W _. I could swear that its a U though...

Ok, please disregard the last picture, and there's no way to delete a post right? Anyway, it should be either U W _ or M D _. I had the W and M backwards in my last two posts and picture. And the "route emblem" is the same as a shield, which is more likely. So this is the corrected picture with the emblem rotated (and with the correct M/W.) [:D]
