Hello to everyone again, can anyone take alook at this bottle to help me date it please.
It is about 8" tall and is a sort of amber or olive colour. It is embossed as follows
SWANSEA OLD BREWERY PEMBROKE. Two seams run up each side to 1 third of the neck and it has a single seam running from side to front ,no seam in back.
As before I would be grateful to anyone who can help. Thanks...Brian

Hi Brian,
Your bottle looks like a 3-piece mold circa 1880-90.The dates I found on this site (about 1/2way down the page) support that except they list this brewery in Cardigan!

Hope this helps,

Hi barnidoyll, I agree with Kat as to the date of your bottle. You can get some really nice beer bottles over in the UK, very under-rated bottles in my opinion [;)] .
What's the digging like in Wales ?

Thanks for your help Kat , it is extremely helpful. Also thanks again to Irish for your much appreciated help. I havent really found a good bottle dump in my area ,at least not very old ones. Sometimes I find the odd bottle on the estuary nearby but usually pick one up at a boot sale for a pound or two. Thanks ..Brian.
