First up a pair of Pioneer Soda Works. Variant one, flat base:

And slightly worse for wear, a rounded base variant with different bear, found in a Mountain View trash pit on what was an abandoned farm on the old Bailey Road:

Next stop on the train south we pull into San Mateo, home of the Highland Ginger Ale Co.

The train ride takes us through a few more towns, we're getting pretty thirsty but it's too early for a beer.
So in Redwood City we decide to have another Highland Ginger Ale...

Darn ginger ale just wasn't enough so we try another soda works whilst stopped at the Redwood City station:

A couple of short stops in Atherton and Menlo Park and we decide to set a spell in Palo Alto and order a couple more sodas,
embossing variant one:

And upon close examination we realize the second bottle has a completely different mold...

Golly where will we stop next? You'd think by now our thirst would be quenched, but hey soda just doesn't do the trick the way a good brew would. After a quick run to the "restrooms" we order two orange-aides from the Mayfield Soda Works

Traveling through San Jose we end up in Los Gatos, California and have time for what we hope is our last soda of the morning...
