taking dogs diggin

thought I would be smart & take my rat terrier w/ me the other day to a dump dig. It's been warm & I wanted to know if there were any snakes out. figured she would find one & let me know. Well she found one, jumped about a mile straight up in the air, & wouldn't budge from my lap til shs was safe in the car. some protecter she was! but ya gotta luv'em

lol, sounds bout right... if mine saw a snake they would probably flush em right up my pant leg!

Here's my pooch, he comes with me all the time on digs , he makes for a great cover if you happen to hear someone yell "what the hell you doin down there", at least you have a cover by saying "oh nothing, jusy walking the dog", not to mention a great companion. He gets impatient though if I spend to much time in one spot.
This is his favorite spot under the computer until spring comes and it can't come quick enough.

I had a shepard that i took digging, but after 2 trips to the vets for stitches in his paws, i quit taking him.[]

I've been that route a few times... I just tie them up away from the glass...
