Hey there guys, thanx to Charlie letting me know about a Paterson Bottle I needed for my collection I was also able to find three other bottles and a 5 Gallon stoneware that i didn't have. You are really a god man Charlie and I can't thank you enough. I got 2 quart crown tops, a quart hutch from the next town over and it is the first hutch from the town of Passaic I have ever seen, the 1891 tombstone slug I originally went down the shore for and the 5 Gal. stoneware in awesome condition. Here are the pics


Had a tag for $130 on it, got it for Forty Bucks, I like saving $90 on ajug

was $20 got it for $13, they really worked with me today

I couldn't agree more TSJ, Charlie is the best he really has shown me a great spot which is 60 miles from the town I collect but they keep coming up with bottles from here somehow, someway, THANX A MILLION CHARLIE, I OWE YOU BIG TIME !!!!!

All the quart crown tops from my area have something aronud the neck, one has bunting like you would see at a parade, another has the company crest, and the other has simple crosshatched x's all the way around.

Hey, Jim, you are quite welcome!! Apparently I missed you by a few minutes at the antique store.. I pop in every day at lunchtime to see if anything's changed, today they said to me "Hey, your friend from Paterson was just here.."
I'm glad they cut you those deals... I guess I should try a bit of negotiating too![]
I have a theory about why so many Patersons (and other N Jersey, NY, and PA) bottles are found in that area... they were brought by people goin' down the shore and brought their drinks along with them.. makes sense, anyhow..
