I had to study this one for quite a while to determine that this was not original.http://www.ebay.com/itm/221307126085?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 The way the corner bevels melt into the roof line looks the same way it does on the original Whitney made version. The pictures the seller presents also are not the greatest as hardly any embossing is visible. The tell tale sign however is how deep the bottom of the neck cuts down into the roof line ,that is the giveaway as to it originality. On the Clevenger versions the base of the neck resembles a spade you would dig with, while on the original Whitney version the base of the neck is a much softer circumference. I have included a detailed look at the roof lines on an original Whitney made Booz and the counterfeit Clevenger version. As you can see the bevel on an original is much less in length and depth. The one on eBay now looks like a hybrid of the two ,but I believe this was caused in the annealing process. If you cant afford the 3500.00 price tag for an original one this is the next best thing.
