Did anyone on here catch the ( 60 minutes I believe ) show on MSNBC last night about the Republic ? A ship that sank and rested at around 1600 feet on the oceans floor .
It had hundreds of bottles at the site of the ship scattered about on the oceans floor . They showed a few they had recovered....A Olive yellow Hostetters , Puce Drake's Plantation , Fruit jars with contents , and pepper sauces . WOW !
And they have recovered approx. 75 million dollars worth of American Gold Coins from the ship so far.
I didn't catch but just the end of the show. I guess I will search for the Republic on the web and see if it turns anything up about it.
