Yeah I really don't know. I knew it was early and when the guy gave it to me he said he couldn't find any info on it. i posted it here awhile back and not many people knew about it either. The intrigue I think is the seams and that it might be a refired pontil. But I leave that up to the experts. I just dig em and find em. That is why I dont post much info for folks...simply b/c I dont know much. But the thing is that I normally just add in extra bottles for folks that win my ebay auctions. This is one I was just going to give to someone but decided to post it. Rethinking all the others I gave away[:D][:D]

Ah, benzine ... or is it benzene? Benzene ia an aromatic hydrocarbon, while benzine is a petroleum ether (gasoline). Benzine should not be confused with benzene since it is a mixture of alkanes, e.g., pentane, hexane, and heptane, whereas benzene is a cyclic, aromatic hydrocarbon, C6H6.
Likewise, petroleum ether should not be confused with the class of organic compounds called ethers, which contain the -O- functional group. Case in point: during World War Two some extermination camps experimented by killing people with benzine injections.

Hope this clarifies what was contained in your bottle.

Could be similar to Benzedrine. It used to be legal. Neat bottle.
