Here's this weekends dig finds and some pics. Matt (tigue710) pulled a nice yellow Wolfe's and a few other meds out today too that I don't have pics of, hopefully he'll post some pics for ya.

This is a few weeks back, but I thought it was a funny pic with the cop in the back and all. We were just opening up a pit that produced one broken spice bottle and a few shards....oh, and a dead cat.

Here's the finds from yesterday.

Here's what I took home today, besides the Joy's Sarsaparilla and the pickle. Those were from yesterday.

The Joy's and a pot lid.

A perfume with a cool clover stopper.

Zachery Taylor face pipe.

The utility has KILLER color, whittle, and is hinge mold with a crude lip. The pics suck.

And I brought home the champagne because it has this obvious Iron Pontil. Never seen one like it before.

All in all some great digs, and were not done yet. A date range from 1850s-1890s, so theres a lot of variety. Hopefully Matt can get some pics of his up soon, cuz that wolfe's is yellow as can be, very pretty.

Hell yeah, we've had a couple decent digs. Good company and good bottles. Digging some strange spots too. Today's dig seems to be a tailing pile we were digging in, the wolfes and a good deal of bottles we found were covered in rock. That utility is sweet! Funny cause that's all I've been talking about digging on the forum lately... Here's a pic of my takes, applied lip hosetters, the wolfes, first ever coffin flask, a lead glass Boston med with flared outward rolled lip, and a sweet western med slick with applied rolled lip. The broken bottle today included a drakes, a xxl bitters, Charles London cordial a couple gothic sauces and of all things a teal iron pontil Harvey squat from Norwich ct, pretty much my home town...

Nice Digz, guys!

And you didn't have to hack through layers of ice and snow and frozen ground neither. Well done!
