Well Dugout, that is a neat point, but glass history goes back almost 3.500 years. There is no doubt about it - it is the most interesting material that man has created. I seem to spend most of my retired years digging into the how it was done - history of man made glass items. Fascinating and it beats the heck out of being a couch potato in front of a boob tube. I especially looking at the glass made between 1650 and 1950 because of the CMR in the glass made in iron molds before they started chilling the cavities in the mold iron castings. RED Matthews
