Hey everyone,

I have the top to a Black figural bottle that I really don't need and would be willing to see if I can find a needy home for it. If you can use this to add to or finish an incomplete bottle, please let me know. Height is 1 3/8" with an opening of approx. 9/16" and looks totally black unless held under a strong light and then you can see the true color is a deep purple/amethyst. Thanks, Fred

Well, that should be black glass and probably has some value to it. Especially the reds. Nice offer though.

hmmmmm....isn't the rest of this figural a type of clear camphor glass or acid etched glass? I seem ta recall seeing such, once upon a time.

Hey Charlie,

The bottom ( or body ) to this bottle was either acid etched or frosted. The total height would have been around 5" or so, but I remember little else about it other than it was extremely thin and fragile. It was broken during a move even though it was wrapped in newspaper.
