A few years back there was a Qatari prince (if I remember correctly) who got interested in collecting American soda bottles, especially Coca Cola. He was so rich that his method of acquiring bottles was apparently to hire people to buy them for him, and then he would pay them based on how much they spent. To maximize their profits the buyers would bit against each other to artificially drive up prices on auctions, increasing their cut. If you had sold your bottle before he died, he probably would have been the one to buy it.Yeah, I'm lost on that.
