My uncle is in the process of moving, and he decided to get rid of most of his bottles. He said if there were any I wanted, I could help myself! I came back with a nice collection of about 40 bottles. Most he got at yard sales and flea markets. Here are some of the nicer ones.
Amber Ball Perfect Mason half-gallon
Large poison bottle, embossed twice with original glass stopper. Does anyone know the number for this one?
Athlophoros bottles are common, but this one is nice and large. Any ideas on rarity?
Maple Lawn Farm Dairy, Ashaway, RI A nice local milk
Smith's Special Elixir. I know it's a fairy bottle, but I really like the color!
Phytoline, a Powerful Anti-Fat. I can't say I've heard of this one until now.
Milkinesia, the Easy way to take Milk of Magnesia. It's beat up badly, but might be uncommon?
Burnett's Cocoaine! Common but I love these. This one has a crude lip, prob. from the 1870s.
A good old Laxol.
Walter Price & Co. Westerly, RI. A local druggist that was in my top 50 most wanted bottles.
