This is an interesting bottle that I have always wondered about.
Anyone know anything about it?

I am from close Cumberland and any bottle that old from Cumberland is generally very rare and worth a fair amount. Unfortunately, I have not seen this one before.

Curious if you ever found anything on the JHK part of that at all?
I came across info on a (John Hackett Kennedy) he had a drug wholesale on Market Street, Chattanooga in the late 1860's...and in the info they referenced him JHK...any chance that the JHK is a distributor - not the drug/drug company - and that they sold in that area? His brother William E. was a doctor? Oh I don't know...probably a wild goose chance not worth the keystrokes it took to type it - but I had to throw it out there...
