Anyone have any idea about this one? It's not marked but has a nice pattern and it looks like a ground pontil.

Oooooo, pretty. I have no idea, but I love the embossing. It's almost flask-like in it's shape. Obvious paper label areas, so I'll leave the rest who collect in this area to fill in the blanks.

I'd say a Four Roses Whiskey.

It isn't pontiled, too recent.. the "eagle" style flask dates 1900 - 1920.. it is a pretty one, though!

yeah, I'm still learning. I found a site a little bit ago that explained pontils and I think whats called the Owen's ring as well as other things that are commonly mistaken for pontils.

As I suspected about the supposed pontil...
Have a couple of newer Four Roses in my collection; the only reason I'm keeping them is because they are so darn pretty!
