I dug a soda bottle once that looked just like that inside. The top had fused onto the lip, and man was it a pain to remove! Since it was not corked and stored in a wine cellar, it's definitely bad.

Cool bottle, I've always liked bottles with contents and prefer to leave the contents alone when possible. If you collect bottles because they are pretty that's one thing, but if the history is more of a draw then original contents add to the interest level, for me anyway.
