Does the fact that this unopened Coca-Cola bottle has a toy stuck in it make it valuable? As anyone ever seen anything like this?

See that kinda thing a lot. Most likely the empty bottle has had the item put in it then refilled and recapped. Some people then try to sell them for a stupid high amount claiming 'rare' bottle with something in it from the factory. Almost anyone with a simple bottle capper device can do this. The bottle itself is common worth bout 3$.

Back in the early 70s I was at a friend's house and we grabbed a 7-UP each from the fridge and his had a small mouse floating in the soda (bottle fresh from the store!). Bottle had a crown cap in those days, 16 Oz.

I waited years before drinking another 7-UP!

Ditto what others have said. "Unopened" is a mis-categorization. It should have read, "Filled", or "re-filled". The word "unopened" implies that the bottle holds original contents right from the bottler and that is next to impossible to prove. A picture of the bottle coming off the production filling line with something in the bottle other than the intended beverage would be the only proof I'd accept. Everything else is as previously stated: Somebody filling and capping the bottle with some foreign contents with an intention to deceive the gullible masses.
