Hello! Long time no post. Here is one I picked up at a shop (usually I am a digger- they find me even when I am not digging!)I think it's Flint glass, 7 chambers, fired pontil, engraved with laurel and I.M. There are no seams, lots of inclusions, and the lip is fairly crude and applied. I've never seen anything like it. Any information would be helpful! I'll ad a pic of top in another post.

I aaume this is a multiple cavity bottle. If it is, I would like to get a chance to study it. I have some but I have not found our exactly how they make them. I have one that has three large sections to it - and they are held together with a metal base ring and wires to the top ring. I have seen others that were formed together, but have not found much information on the production methods used. There had to be a procedure to the process. If you want to sell it - or mail it to me - I would appreciate the ooportunity and cover the cost of doing itl RED Matthews <bottlemysteries@yahoo.com>

I couldn't figure out how to use this site or post via the computer (take into account I have military electronics and IT experience). So, back on my phone.

I've seen two of these in an antique mall. One at $60 (listed as 'rare 1800s apothecary tester'), the other for $15 (which retains the 'Made In Italy' sticker). It fooled me for a minute, it is kinda crudely slapped together, yet very solid. Pontil was refired on base.
