Finished up my last of three two week long vacations diving for bottles and artifacts in Downeast Maine. The last two weeks were not as productive as the previous weeks and turned up only a few things worth posting. The best find was this small stoneware creamer. It's from the Eastern Stemaship Lines and measures 3 inches tall and is fully intact. There are many pieces of broken china littering the bottom but the "Rockland" pattern of the Eastern Steamship Line is very uncommon. Probably because it was a late pattern used just before they stopped operations.

Bottle picking were pretty slim. In part because I'd picked over the area for so long and I've become picky, leaving stuff on the bottom unless I really liked it. I have a thing for case gins though and found this nice extremely bubbly one buried in 4 inches of clay/mud.

One last bottle that I like. The flask is really frosted.

I have a few pieces with the name of the company on them and quite a few with just the design.

The best piece is a pitcher from the Portland Steamship Company. It has a small but fixable chip. I also have a nice butter pat from the International Steamship Company.

I have numerous broken plates from the Frontier Steamship Company. I really want an intact piece of one of them.

HOLY BOTTLES BATMAN, I FOUND A BOTTLE JUST LIKE THIS (I THINK) AT A YARDSALE LAST WEEK FOR A BUCK. I WASN'T SURE IT WAS OLD OR NOT, BUT IT STRONGLY RESEMBLES THIS ONE ALOT!
