I've had this Bell Jar for 50+ years but it's time to part ways. Can anyone tell me it's value?

Beautiful piece, especially with the purpling of the glass that has started to occur. I, like Leon, don't have any experience in the world of bell jars - but I can find a one similar example to yours that have sold on eBay recently for $70, but that one was only 14" tall and the glass was still clear. That being said, bell jars seem like they can range from $30-$150+, so it's hard to put an exact value - especially where I know very little about them!
