Hey Yaya,
Welcome. I think the product was called sozodont. It was a tooth brushing material. It is not rare. I'm sure there are members here that have them. (I'm pretty confident that I have one or two in a box). I will check it out to make sure I am on the same page and report back later . . .
If you don't win that one I have a dug one with a lip chip & stain I'll sell. $30 and that includes shipping with Priority Mail & Delivery Confirmation. Embossed Van Buskirk's Fragrant Sozodont For The Teeth and Breath
I dug one in a 1870's privy, it has slightly different embossing and is a darker aqua...
It says on the front:
Vanbuskirk's
Fragrant
Sozodont
and on one side: for the teeth and on the other: for the breath
I made a Christmas present of it, so I can't sell it to you.
Relatively unrelated but still somewhat applicable, I love finding and giving bottles to people who share the name of the original proprietors of the products contained in certain bottles. Snyder, Harmon, Hoffman, Probin (my father accomplished that one), McGrath (the fellow is a Mark McGrath, a veritable Sugar Ray!), Zimmerman, and I wish I could say that the list goes on. The joy of the recipients who get something personally meaningful is far more than enough payment in my mind. Vicarious pleasure is still pleasure so it works for me.
