vase

I bought this to list at the Milwaukee bottle show this past Sunday. Anyone know what it is? It came out of a 1870's to 1880's privy. Not the best picture i know. The bottom has pattern on it and it looks like it was pressed in a mold.

Yes i would say that is a possibility.

Lobeycat i didn't see any but i was busy promoting the acution site at the show and had a birthday party after and never gave it a killer exam... i will now.

Baltodigger i bought it to list on the new auction site so yes...

I will see what i can do for some better pictures.

It's not carnival glass but its still a very nice piece of 1880s colored pressed glass. It's a very unusual form not one that I have ever dug before. If i dug it I wouldn't sell it. But I like weird things that I dig.

It's a blue opalescent glass vase made by Jefferson Glass company. The pattern is Aurora Borealis and was made in 1903. They were made in blue, green and white and your blue is the most valuable. That is about all I know.
