Very dark green wide mouth bottle

This bottle actually looks black but against the sun it is very dark green. About 6 inches high and the bottom a little uneven when placed on a flat surface. I am anxious to learn its history please...as always all the help much appreciated and learning from the experts just great.

they are referred to as truffle bottles, and held packed fruits and berries or something like that most of the time. There are many reproductions out there made the same way as the originals, so its very hard to tell through pictures on line if you have an original or a reproduction bottle. The originals are decent bottles, valuable, but not worth a whole lot of money. The kick up on your bottle would lead me to believe you have genuine piece...
