Hi I was up in Virginia over the weekend at my grandpas farm which actually used to have a general store and found a bottle dump with mainly bottles and jars from the 40s and 50s with some older stuff mixed in. We filled up the car with some stuff but left a lot there. Anyways if anyone knows about anything that was found any help is appreciated. Here are some pictures of what I brought back.

The makers mark on the bottom of the blue one looks like Hazel-Atlas. Surprisingly most of the bottles are missing a date code, so if it doesn't have one I can't date it. Just by looking at them I would say that you are right they look like they are from the 50s or maybe the early 60s. The one clear one looks like it's made by Owens Illinois. If it is then I can definitely date it, but I can't make out the numbers. If you tell me the numbers and where the are located around the makers mark then I can date that one for you. Or you can try taking a clearer picture, whichever one is easier.

Good start. Keep looking for something older (pottery shards, aqua glass, blown-in-mold tops or bases). The older it is, the more fun it gets.

That Warranted Flask is quite a lot older than the others, probably 1890s-1910s-ish. It's a sign that there's likely some older stuff buried underneath!

Yes, this was my immediate thought as well. That one's a good find!
