Was This a Dr. Hartshorns?

Pick up this bottle yesterday at a antique shop. It looks like a Dr. Hartshorns Family medicine bottle. Does anyone know if it is. Also what does Berlin Series mean? Im not sure of the age of this bottle but it looks very early.

Thanks for the info. Appears Berlin stands for Berlin Mass. and I would say it dates before 1867. I have seen a few of these in the past but this is the first one I've seen with no damage to the lip.

yes, it is of the Berlin series, which were made in Berlin Mass, as you suspected. The date is probably pretty close, but may be earlier as snap case molds were being used by 1867. Very nice bottle, and pretty pricey if I remember correctly.....

The bottle ebay is the same only it's thin lip has been removed. I'm guessing because it was chipped badly. A lot of pontil thin lip bottles are starting to show up on the market that have been ground down to make them more sellable.

That's what I figured when I read the list. At least it was owned up to, kudos for that.
