Still digging in the same 1900-1920 dump as for we have been for the last 5 months, but we've finally found a decent layer of bottles. Lots of local medicine bottles, as well as abstract local sodas. We've also found a huge amount of generic amber chemical/medicine bottles. Check out the pictures below to see the clay cap we've been contending with!
Sodas That have come out of the hole:
Marble City Bottling Works (Knoxville Tenn): x2, minor ping damage to one, but still displayable
Delaware Punch (San Antonio Texas): x2 , both damaged but one is still displayable
Capacola (Little Rock Arkansas): x1, perfect shape
Al Ko Bottling Works (Knoxville Tenn): x4, none salvageable, but I'm still hopeful!
Mike (Madman) found a Whistle from Newport News, Virginia. A nice addition to the collection.
Also, I know it's not rare, but I pulled a Hostetter's Stomach Bitters in amber with no base writing out on Saturday. Looks great on the shelf!
Knoxville Tennessee Straight Sided Pepsi
Marble City Bottling Works
1880's Cer Cantharid Jar (don't know much about this one)
