Weird Bottle

I found this really thin bottle today. I am just confused on what it could have possibly been used for...any ideas?

This is what I put in a category of vails. (Pre test tubes) and I believe they were used for liquid medication. I am sure some were used for the early dope users also. RED Matthews

It looks a bit tall for pills, maybe a liquid med. I'm thinking a little more recent use like Spanish fly or an essence oil for an aromatherapy.
