hi bryan, warren, bruce and mike, thanks for looking and thoughts on this. there are 2 fondations here, the houses are on the side of a hill. there is about a 15' flat area in frt. of them that must have been a road, then there is 4' to 5' stone wall supporting the flat area. over this wall is where we are finding the bottles now. bruce there are rocks every where here and i have found some under rocks, that is a very important piece of information. in one area i stop digging when i hit rocks. thanks again, rhona
