Thanks...Yeah Bram It sucks when there is no shade to go take a brake in.Its not the heat that kills ya its the humidity [] thats what everyone says anyway. I think its both.
I never got any of my dug bottles tumbled,I kinda like that old look.I was thinking about tumbleing a few in the future though.
That dump is hit or miss, sometimes you hit good pockets and some times you get zip. Soon the backhoe is coming in,it probably would have busted that ink []
hey rick very nice ! drink that water brother! man its hot here too i put my water in the freezer the night before, and about the time ineed it its thawed and ice cold ahhhhhhh mike
Here it is, Rick. It took me a while to find it. It's horribly stained, so I threw a little oil on it to get a good pic. This and a little barrel ink were lying right on top of the ground, that's how we found this dump. I haven't been there in a long time, but I would like to give it a try again sometime. It's VERY hit-and-miss, and I found out it was dug hard in the 70s and 80s, but I have pulled a few really nice bottles from it. I'll round a few of them up and take a group pic to show you what I mean. ~Jim
