Hi All, My daughter and I have been digging off and on in a cellar hole I found. The house would have been built in the mid 1800's. It is filled with bottles and other stuff but obviously not from the original home owner. There were two smaller houses that nearby that burned in the 1940's, I'm assuming that they used this hole as their trash pit. I just know that somewhere nearby is the place where the original people would have dumped their glass, it's just a matter of finding it. There are two stone lined circular holes which I assume were cisterns. There's a lot of area to cover and it most likely wait tilll spring as were having alot of fun digging this cellar hole out.

Here are some of the finds, will post more later, going back up in a little while.

Any idea what these white glass things are? Looks like a big tooth, maybe a denture holder? It reads
PAT'D DEC 21 1875
OSBORN MFG. CO
NEW YORK

We found two of these, a really nice intact Ball Jar, these other bottles pictured here. Lots more just havent taken pics of everything.

By looking at these things can anyone give an estimate on a time period of this stuff?

One of the cistern holes, wonder if there's anything at the bottom?

Your milk glass object is a cage bird feeder. Much like those today, it slips in between the wires. The jar is circa 1906-20 and the blob is an unembossed malt beer, laye 1910s-WWI. Nice finds, there should be plenty more out there.
