Nice bottles. Its ashame that the Moon's emerald oil didn't have front panal embossing. In the book that I have its listed as $2 with full front label but my book is 30+ yrs old. Swizzle
Hmm... from the pics I'd say you're digging on the east side of the harbour - which is where the dump in Owen Sound was from 1840's to the early 1950's when they moved it to the old quarries on the east hill (now Duncan McLelland park). The oldest sections are at the end of 2nd ave east by 15th and 16th streets and along 3rd avenue east from 17th street east onward - long since developed over but keep an eye peeled if there's ever any sewer/water work going on. It extended as far north as the house before the curve in the road before Hobarts.
The crossed rifles and rabbit head sodas as Robertson & Co from Mount Forest if memory serves me well - came in green and clear, also in a blob and a really nice stone ginger beer. Looks like you got an O'Keefe's soda as well (squat brown soda). Have you found any Owen Sound druggists yet? There were a few that put out enamelled prescrition bottlles - Leslie-Dowkes, Parkers, Urquharts, Murphy.
