I was digging in a garden one day about 15 years ago. I dug this medallion up. Can someone tell me what it is and is it worth something?

Hi William, I put my magnifying glass up to my computer screen in an attempt to read the writing, I was able to make out 'Chevrolet', 'Truck Champion' and I believe 'Peak', is this a winner's medal for a race up Pike's Peak or some other mountain? Can you help us out regarding the writing, and what's on the reverse?
