Thanks for the compliment. I'll have to contact "Mad Magazine" and see if they are interested in any of my stuff. The Eiffel Tower connection about it ushering in a new age was part and parcel of an art class study I remember from high school back in the 1970s. I think it was more of our teacher's theory about it than anything textbook related. But it stuck in my brain all these years and I have grown to accept it.

Thanks. I agree about your connection between the 1915 Coca Cola contour bottle and the so called Arts & Crafts Movement. I did a quick Google search under "Typical Arts & Crafts 1915 Design" and of the numerous results it generated, I settled on the vase below which was "a-typical" of the era. The lines are very similar to the hobbleskirt.

Thanks. You are right, of course. The ad I used was primarily intended as a loose connection to "France/Coca Cola/Eiffel Tower", and not specifically to just Coca Cola itself. I was mainly trying to emphasize the French influence on America back in the day, which included everything from womens's hats to soda pop. I.E. "French Wine Coca."

I was just trying to get in some props for Ben Kent SPB, Dennis(celerycola) is the one who let me know about him and the Coke connection. I have 4 or 5 of his bottles but none with a Coca Cola paper label, that would be exciting....Jim[;)]

I have decided to start a new thread on this topic. I am working on it now. Please join in once it's completed. I'm gonna need some help figuring it out. Right now I'm trying to find an Coca Cola company response to it, but so far have not found one.

Thanks.

See ya soon.

Bob
