Where to dig?

Ok theres an old old cabim house behind the woods im my house probaley atleast 100 years old im gonna go look for old trash pits around it any ideas where to look?

Just look for debris and glass. Dig down and find bottles. Don't put too much backfill on undug dump. Wash your bottles. Take pics of them. Post pictures on here. Good luck!

if the ground is not frozen now is one of the better times to dig no ticks no flies or mosquito's easy to find debris with no foilage

Also look for depressions in the ground, something like a manhole cover sized area where a privy may have been. When they were filled in they often sank a little over the years leaving a depression as to their whereabouts...Good luck Kid...Jim

look for the outer rim of the dump, thats where u can find some the 1st bottles and often the oldest thrown there..remember during the excitment don't bury over undug areas...all the best...
