That is a mid 1800's whimsey bottle, this is the rolling pin.

Lovely glass and a beautiful cabinet. Been trying to explain to the hubby what kind of shelves I would love to have one day. I will have to show him this photo.

Depending on where you live, be prepared to invest upwards of $1000.00 per foot for quality mill work. A 4' piece of 3/8" tempered glass will set you back about $60.00. You can go hog wild crazy on quality reproduction hardware as well...don't ask!
I would give you the name and number of the ;&@$(#% that did mine but I wouldn't wish him on my worst enemy.

My husband and father-in-law are pretty good at woodworking...when they have the time. Once we get settled...again...and if I have the room, I will task them with the project.

It may be awhile. I know my mother-in-law has been waiting on new kitchen cabinets since before my husband and I were married..almost 29 years!
