I was looking on internet for information on a bottle and came across this surprising page on the Nostalgiaville website about this famous collection being for sale:

Talk about an 'instant' collection. Wish I had the room and $75000. I think that is a good price for all the stuff they have.
My wife and I actually went to the The Museum of Beverage Containers & Advertising on our Honeymoon!
Who says I'm not romantic?? Actually-we came across it by accident, but what an awesome collection. I hate to see it go.

What a massive collection! I bought storage for mine, but would need a warehouse for this collection. I haven't checked yet , but I hope the website stays up! I have contributed info and photos to several unknown West Tenn. soda bottles to their site. Their info has been a great help to ID bottles in Tennessee and other states.

When I found out that Tom has the collection up for sale, I figured I needed to work it into a trip I was going on to Kentucky this past August.

Right now I'm working on a huge feature story for the next Soda Spectrum magazine based on my trip there. I took upwards of 500 photographs of his many cans and bottles, and Issue #52 will have a story about the collection, its history, and dozens of photos. Tom has some truly amazing things in his collection - I really hope someone comes forward to buy the entire lot - to preserve what he has spent years building - but I have my doubts.

Anyway, hope you'll consider checking out the upcoming edition of the Soda Spectrum for the whole story and more... details at: http://www.sodaspectrum.com

P.S. - I'm also posting a few pics just to whet your pallet. :)
