    Metal Detecting Find

    the masons do back several hundred years, my father and brother are masons, and I bet they would give everything in their wallets for ether of those items, those type of things arnt thrown away, they are lost and looked for, you may be able to donate them for a good tax rightoff

    Antique Rail Road Crossing Sign

    RE: Vintage Rail Road Crossing Sign I see that they each have 3 holes in them, lay them out just as the 3 holes line up. that will show you the angle of the X. looks like it was more wide than tall. Id love to restore them. and careful cast iron can break, and it sucks to weld it back

    Asking permission...

    tell the truth , that you will backfill, and take off even the broken glass, Take them some fresh produce.(old folks love produce). Dont beg or be rude, and Never let them know about how much money they may have burred on their property. Offer to spread grass seed when you are done

    Basic bottle cleaning

    If you want to drill copper wire you can use a cheep impact socket , they have a hole in the side that is just rite for your wire, just mate up the size socket and drill bit , put the socket in a vice ( dont forget safety glasses) and make pellets

    My home is just south of rockwood , and I never knew that coke bottled there, ill do some local asking around town and see if anyone has some of them. strange that rockwood is just a few miles from Dayton and my girlfriends mother has a Dayton TN coke in her collection

    I think I speak for all smokers when I say a good ashtray is hard to find, personally I like the ones that are like a foot long and can hold 12 smokes, you dont have to empty them as often

    nice key, the style of key tag is still used today in some hotels that still have keys, most of them say that postage is guaranteed, and can be dropped in the mail box and they get it back

    What is it?

    from those pics it is between 1 inch and 8 feet tall, ( cant tell) Is the bottom open? or any vents or holes on it . could be one of those things from that place that that guy had , but I cant be sure

    Cork screw

    Just a thought, It is a cork screw, no doubt there, the steel has to be well bonded to the handle or it would never work, Look to see if It goes all the way threw and was capped over, If its plastic the steel should T off inside the handle to make it strong enough to open a bottle of wine.
