    Can anybody read (or more likely recognize) this? The middle of the mark is Glasgow and I believe the bottom says Pottery works, but I can't read the name, McBundy's maybe? Sean

    Yup, that's the one. Those are supposedly found in cobalt too but I've never seen one.

    Can anyone tell me about the bottle on the right? It's an early smooth base with Albany and then either an infiniti symbol or two chain links like a sideways 8. They look more like chain links. Found these yesterday, the Steven Sweet's Infallible Liniment is really early. Thanks, Sean

    That shinyness is from me hacking at the rust with a screwdriver. When found it was a complete mass of black rust, what you see here is what emerged after I attacked it. My damn hands are still as black as they used to be back when I still fixed my own cars :)

    Thanks for all of the replies. I'm tending to agree that it's probably not a cannonball. I took some better measurements and pictures and they seem to rule out a 32 pounder, which is really all it could be if it was a US cannonball. The hole is weird because it expands inside but not very much...

    I came across an old Anheuser-Busch bottle today (along with a pontiled SS Fitch and a beautiful jug my buddy found). Is this one worth anything? It's probably about 1910 I'm guessing, early tooled crown top.

    I don't think so, they're fairly common. I had one some years back that I got from an antique store for $15 and when I put it on ebay it got 14.99 with 2 bids, so I pretty much got burned on that one :)

    Something about that makes me think it was a small cream pitcher, I think because of the interior decoration. I agree with Wayne on the age, late 18th-early 19th century, good spot to sniff around some more for sure. Sean

    I have its twin in yellow, which I paid $29 for at an antique store in the 90s. I agree that the value on yours today should be about $75-125. Sean
