I purchased this Tell City, Ind at the Indianapolis Bottle Club's first show. This is the first I've seen that city name is underlined where Chero-Cola normally is embossed.Around the base-

I've seen that before. I own a G&L Bottling Company bottle from Pocahontas VA which made me think that they were bottling Chero-Cola in Pocahontas, but in fact it was the Obbagy Brothers Bottling Company who was. It still remains a mystery to me why G&L used this particular style embossing on their bottles. Maybe it just one of the lesser used styles in the glassmaker catalog.
My guess would be that they put it on the wrong plane by accident. We once ordered something as a gift from the States, and it took ages to arrive and when it finally did we saw that it had been all...
