If anyone has any information about this company please feel free to share, thanks :D...
This company was founded by Samuel Liebmann and produced, among other things, Rheingold Extra Dry. Samuel's son Joseph and son-in-law David Obermeyer would found their own company, Obermeyer & Liebmann's for 30 years before merging back with S.L.S.B Co. in 1924.
This is an early 1890's O&L bottle featuring their trademark sun logo. The brewery lasted until 1924 when it went bankrupt and was bought out by Samuel Liebmann & Sons, who was the older company father of Joseph Liebmann, father-in-law of David Obermeyer, and investor of Rheingold.
This is a James Everard's Breweries beer bottle. The buisness operated from 1885-1926. James Everard was one of the few brewers of Irish ancestry operating in the predominantly German NYC brewing industry of the time.
Got out late today, around 4:30pm. The air was warm as the sun hung low and dusk descended across the bay. One would almost forget they were in the heart of a major metropolis as the silence was so profound. There was neither the sound of cars nor the chattering of crowds, all was peaceful and...

Went on a fun and exhausting adventure today exploring a very inhospitable land long forgotten by time. A few things from over 100 years ago lay plainly visible on the surface in some places while in other places I had to dig through thick mud to get to them.
Here's a picture of all the day's...
David Mayer was an ex-Confederate soldier who moved to the Bronx, New York after the Civil War and started a brewery. The brewery was very successful but was closed by federal agents when Prohibition went into effect. This is one of the original bottles found close to where the brewery once stood.
So they drug a blade across a large field and I noticed some old brick sticking out. Spotted one piece of glass sticking out ... nothing too spectacular and wish it wasn't clipped, but you never know where something is going to crop up. No other bottles note, some glass but not enough to...

A couple weeks ago me and a buddy located a privy right smack in the middle of the ghetto. Yanked a few keepers and filled the hole back in before it got too dark. More to come, pretty sure there are at least 4 or 5 all in the same vicinity.
Looking for information on this bottle. I was given a price of $350. Is it worth it or more than what is being asked? I can’t find any more like it to compare to
Picked up six great bottles in a trade last night. Up for trade was a bottle I picked up earlier this year and there is a post about it. Pott's Pop Works from Clinton CW.

Hello everybody. I was wondering if anyone has any information on these bottles I dug up.
This one I'm more asking if anyone's ever seen. I can't find any info on Charles and Co anywhere, but I have seen a cylindrical whiskey bottle bearing their name for sale online. I haven't been able...
