Medicines from Alabama are pretty rare. There arent many patent medicines from that state. I've seen a few local pharmacy bottles from the turn of the century but not often. The ones i've seen are mostly from Mobile or Birmingham.
Most Alabama meds will be pharmacy bottles but there are quite a few of them they are just hard to come by and some are very pricy.
Southern diggers are for the most part very wary of other diggers and dig by themselves, in pairs or groups of three. Scabs are plentiful and cause alot of trouble for your average diggernut. For this reason it is very hard to find out what is out there, It's a real treet to meet diggers like ALABOTTLEDIGGER and #1twin.
The only patent meds I have ever seen or heard of from Alabama came from Mobile, Montgomery, Burmingham and one realy rare one from Claborne that a historian I met had. I wanted it bad.
Hey Bryan, The Norton bottles are about a medium find, not common but not rare. They listed it in the wrong place. it should have been listed with hunting knives and all that outdoorsman kinda stuff. I have seen them bring $50 when listed that way. They will be lucky to get $10 unless some one looking for that kind of item just stumbles across it.
