WELL I WENT DIVING BACK TO THAT SPOT WHERE THE OLD TIMER SHOWED ME AND THIS IS WHAT I FOUND ALONG WITH SOME OTHERS. HE TOLD ME THE TRAINS WOULD STOP THERE AN WHILE WAITNIG FOR THE ALL CLEAR THE CONDUCTORS WOULD THROW THE TRASH INTO THE RIVER. 30 COKE BOTTLES THESE TRAINS RAN FROM THE 30'S THROUGH THE LATE 60'S. I'LL BE SPENDING ALOT OF TIME THERE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS.

hey--I really haven't gone through an inspection of them yet. I want to get back there all of this week I counted over 200 bottles laying all over the bottom amongst the rock. One problem is this is a pretty dangerous area to dive there is a wide crevis that lay about 20 feet down. It is about 4 feet wide and don't know how deep it has created what we call a suck hole due to the current if you get pulled in it could take you anywhere from 100 yards to more then a mile down river to another area under water. No one ever comes out if you get caught. I certainly will look for one. I'll keep you posted. I'll be diving there all week. so i'll be posting after 7:30PM every night. Tjhanks for the info on your site Arthur

Suck Hole- [8|] I will add that to killer catfish and giant snapping turtles as another reason I never want to learn how to scuba dive! Do you have an underwater camera, I would love to see all those bottles on the bottom from the safety of my armchair!
Stay Safe!

Thanks for being considerate. I have been diving all of my life. Its hard to explain to everyone that has normal use of their legs but being in a wheel chair as long as I have been its not to easy to get around. BUT when I am in the water I'm free. I can go as fast or as slow as I want. No restrictions. Do not worry I take no chances. Thanks again for the thoughtfullness. They say only the good die young, I'll be here for a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGG time
