So i found this bottle in an old trash pile from a 100 year old farm sight. I tried to find information on it online but i could only find stuff about a full size bottle. I would like to know the date of it and how much it might be worth. The bottom of the bottle is hard to read. I think it says 5880 then under that is A 3 and then UGB.

Looks to be from the 1960s-70s, and probably not worth to much because of the damage to the lid and no label. the labels were quite graphic if I remember correctly. Welcome to the site.....Andy

The embossing on the bottom; 'UGB' (United Glass Bottles) was a consortium of British bottle manufacturers which ceased trading in 1968, I'd agree with Andy in that this bottle is nearer the end of the production from any one of their factories. It's typical of a '60's style and shape. Dig deeper and you should hopefully find older items!

You know, before this month I've seen 0 bottles with a horse label on them (for whiskey, that is). This month, I've seen 5 in 3 different places all with that same-looking white horse.
