Fruit jar lid help

I stopped by a old homesite that was pushed down on friday and searched the surface of the lot for a few minutes before a storm ran me off.I did find this fruit jar lid and was wondering what type jar it was for...any help is appreciated.

I have been studying the lid...could it be a hero glass works? or similar to that?

RB10 #1076 THE GEM (front) HGW (reverse).
Yes, it is from the Hero Glass Works.
