I'm new this site and I think it is a great place for ACL collectors like me to gather and converse, so I thought I'd ask this question:Has anyone ever seen a Chocko Chocolate Soda ACL before? It was produced by Cott, intended to be a Yoo-Hoo type drink. I recently bought a few Chocko cardboard signs, so I did some research. They were produced in New Haven, CT, and sold by independent salesmen. They were made in cans and ACLs. I hope to dig deeper on this topic, because this soda is such a mystery. Thanks.Tyler (P.S. I am new to this great hobby and have gathered about 100 acls in the past year.)

Welcome to the site. I have never heard of that brand but there are many knowledgeable people on this site. Hopefully one of them will be able to help out. I have been collecting for about 3 yrs now and it has become a sickness(in a good way).

tsalz14 Welcome to the forum. I took a quick look around but could not find a picture of a Chocko acl. But based on your $100 Bill ad, they obviously made one. The only containers I could find pictures of were of cans and a paper label bottle, which is the second one from the left on your card. I discovered the Chocko trademark was ... 1. Originally filed in 19622. Registered in 19653. Expired in 1985 Here's their logo, which is of a clown ...

This is the best I could do with enlarging the Chocko acl bottle from the 1967 ad. Notice the swirl design on the upper portion ...

iggyworf- you could say that again!!! I guess I have 'bottle pox'!SPB- thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it. After looking around on past threads you seem to be the go-to guy. Attached are the pictures of some of the lot of cardboard signs I purchased at a flea market. This is a great forum, and I'm sure that I will be active in other threads as well.
